Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility

Since the early 1990s the directors of Royce Group have pursued a path whereby whenever possible the organisation would contribute to the well being of others either with financial support or goods or services in kind. The directors see this as part of their social responsibility in trying to make a difference both in the present and in the future.

The Fountain of Peace is constructing a children’s village for orphaned children in Uganda that will ultimately house over 100 destitute children many of whom are suffering from HIV-Aids. The charity has been able to provide clean and safe drinking water for the local area of Miranga in Kyenjojo as well as getting children back to school. Royce Group are delighted to be able to support this much needed work.

In 2001 St Claire’s Hospice in Hastingwood Essex was provided with comfort cooling to all their in-patient wards to make those under treatment would have more comfortable environment.

We also support Haverhill Foodbank, who use a section of our building here in Haverhill to supply food parcels to the needy in times of crisis.

In a recent project we refurbished the mechanical services to the Zion Baptist Church in Cambridge, which included Jimmys night shelter, situated in the basement of the church. We have included a link at the bottom of this page should anybody wish to donate, volunteer their services or just lend a hand if required.
